HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

A Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) is required to divide a retirement benefit. A DRO becomes Qualified when it has been reviewed and approved ensuring that the DRO meets the requirements of federal law and the plan’s QDRO Procedures.
